Oh what a beautiful day!! ;)
This morning was a little bit chilly, but oh-so-gorgeous. I love it when there's a little chill in the air (especially when it's been so DARN HOT outside)!
I think I'm going to start the "Couch to 5k" plan today too. It's time I started running (especially since I won't be playing derby for 2 months)!
FOOD
1 organic egg, toast with vegan butter and jalapeno jelly, crushed tomatoes, cottage cheese. Cup of tea with milk & honey.
Unsalted seeds & nuts, with raisins.
Salad (mixed organic greens, leftover teriyaki seitan wings, peas, onions sauteed in spray oil with garlic powder). Ranch dressing watered down, with mustard & hot sauce.
Tortilla chips with ranch dressing.
Homemade blueberry Kombucha.
Morningstar brand BBQ "Riblet" with a side of homemade mashed potatoes, and beet chard steamed with low-sodium veggie broth.
Cup of "Calming" tea.
EXERCISE
Day #1 of the Couch to 5K plan! :) 5-minute warm up walk, then 60 seconds of jogging alternated with 90 seconds of walking for 20 minutes.
10 minutes of arm weights, alternating with ab workouts.
